Gerry worked for Met Life, Man Power, Inc., and Temp Help before retiring from the Joliet Township Government. He enjoyed his time in Rotary and serving on the JCA Alumni Board. In his free time, he enjoyed travel, gardening, rooting for the White Sox and Bears, and most of all, fishing -his favorite pastime. He was always ready with a smile, a kind word, or a joke, and was a treasured member of his family and community. Gerry lived a life of faith and integrity, and loved those close to him with all his heart. His warmth, compassion, and humor were a gift to all who knew him.

As it was Gerry’s wish, cremation rites have been accorded.
